Why day 0 / 3 / 7 / 14 / 21
The cadence front-loads touches while the conversation is warm — a same-day recap and a day-3 value-add — then spaces them out as buying attention naturally cools. Each email should have a different job: recap, add value, handle the objection, check the timeline, close the loop. Five variations of “just checking in” on a perfect schedule is still a bad sequence.
Override the default when the prospect gave you a real date: “board meets on the 15th” beats any generic cadence. And once a reply lands, the schedule stops — a sequence is a safety net, not a metronome.
FollowClose builds this schedule for you — with the emails already written from your call transcript, scheduled on the calendar, and (on Rainmaker) sent automatically.
