Terms of Service

These terms govern use of FollowClose's transcript processing, sequence generation, and subscription service.

FollowClose is a tool that turns sales call transcripts into personalized follow-up email sequences. You paste or upload a transcript, confirm the key details, and receive a sequence of emails built from the conversation, ready to copy, edit, and send from your own email client.

FollowClose is intended for professional and business use. It helps generate draft follow-up emails, but it does not replace your own judgment, CRM, legal review, or compliance obligations. FollowClose does not send emails on your behalf — you are responsible for copying, editing, sending, and complying with applicable communication laws.

By accessing or using FollowClose, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You must provide a valid email address to access account features.
• You must keep one-time sign-in codes and active sessions secure.
• You may not use the service to impersonate another person or organisation.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

You retain ownership of the transcripts you submit and the sequences generated for you.

• You represent that you have the right to submit the transcripts you provide, including any necessary rights or consents relating to the people and content reflected in them.
• You are responsible for ensuring that calls were recorded, transcribed, uploaded, and processed lawfully, including obtaining any required consent from call participants.
• You grant us the limited rights needed to process, store, and display your transcripts and generated sequences as part of operating the service.
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing every sequence before sending it. You are solely responsible for the emails you send to your own contacts.

FollowClose uses AI to extract context from your transcript and generate follow-up email drafts.

• Generated sequences are drafts intended as a starting point. They may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or content that does not fit your situation.
• You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all generated content before use.
• We do not guarantee any particular outcome, response rate, or business result from using generated sequences.
• Generated sequences may not be unique, and similar outputs may be generated for other users.
• Generated content is not legal, financial, compliance, or professional advice.
• AI processing is performed via OpenAI under its applicable terms. You should not submit transcripts containing information you are not permitted to share with a third-party processor.

FollowClose is offered on a subscription basis, processed through Stripe.

• Access to sequence generation requires an active paid subscription or trial.
• We offer a free trial as described at checkout. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged according to the billing interval selected at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
• Prices are stated at checkout. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
• Card processing is handled by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and policies. We never store or process card details directly.

• Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@followclose.com and we will review your request in good faith.
• Statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law are unaffected by this section.

You may not use FollowClose for unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or security-harming activity.

• No illegal content, malware, phishing, spam, or attempts to interfere with the platform.
• No use that violates the privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or contractual rights of others.
• No use to generate or send unsolicited bulk email or communications that violate applicable marketing, privacy, electronic communications, or anti-spam laws, including GDPR, ePrivacy rules, CAN-SPAM, or equivalent laws.
• No attempts to probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or bypass platform safeguards.
• No submission of content you do not have the right to process or share.

You are responsible for ensuring that the emails you send using FollowClose comply with applicable marketing, privacy, and anti-spam laws.

FollowClose is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free output, or permanent availability of stored content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost revenue, lost business, lost data, or any consequences arising from emails you send or business decisions you make based on generated content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, operational, or security risk.

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FollowClose will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
